Part of the

Weekend Concert Series

Our weekend concert series showcases a culturally diverse mix of musical genres in a seated, listening room environment.

Josephina Gasca
Josephina Gasca began belly dancing in Chicago in 1998 with Jasmin Jahal. After moving to the East Coast in 2003, she found home with Jamileh, her mentor and friend. Josephina currently performs, teaches, and hosts many area events in Mid Coast Maine.

A student of the late Udi Alan Shavarsh Bardezbanian, Eric LaPerna, formed Zapion in 2010. Zapion plays folk, classical, Sufi, and art music from the Turkish and Arab traditions, as well as Armenian, Iranian and Balkan music. Zapion got its name from a Greek Taverna Udi Al used to perform at in the 70’s, and are doing their best to keep the music he loved alive.
