Steve Slagle is a Grammy award winning saxophonist and world class artist. He is also a Manhattan School of Music faculty member in New York City. Steve has played at practically every major international jazz festival and concert hall on the planet, and has had an illustrious career performing and recording with musicians like Stevie Wonder, Joe Lovano, Jaco Pastorius, , Steve Kuhn, Milton Nascimento, Charles Mingus Big Band, Dave Stryker, and many others. The quartet for July 17th features Slagle playing music from his newest recording and University of Maine faculty member Steve Grover on drums, NYC-based Maine natives Chris Van Voorst Van Beest on bass and Dave DeMotta on piano.
