Feast

Introductions...

After nearly 12 years of culinary experiences I have firmly, and with respect and care landed here at the Frontier Cafe in Brunswick Maine. It would take much too long to explain the road leading to this moment so, instead I will describe for you what makes me tick, what brings my passion, and where this is all going.

I have always had a deep admiration for the small business, the local farmer, and the movement to practice whatever it is we do as sustainably as possible. Living and working in Maine this admiration is quickly becoming a reality. More and more local business are supporting local vendors, local farms, and local ideals. This is truly a hallmark of the everchanging business landscape in the state of Maine. It is as it seems, that more businesses are making a concerted effort to strike a balance with its patrons, its identity, and its potential influence on the greater world around it.

This all being said, Frontier is one of those jewels that has a vast potential to tap into the resources the great people in the state of Maine have to offer. Quickly and deliberately my attention has been focused on showcasing some of the great local farms, businesses, and people that are also championing the cause of community, sustainability, and ethical business practice.

Frontier is about the experience, and as part of that experience whether through film, art, music, or food we are growing closer to a supportive, nurturing, and sustainable community. The phrase "Come In and Go Beyond", sums this all up. It is a call to awaken that which makes us humans, and more importantly the belief that we are all interconnected, a local and global community.

So without further adieu, Come In and Go Beyond....

Best Wishes

Jason
